Krystian Tkaczewski, described as a “Polish Virtuoso” by the Kosciuszko Foundation, is pursuing his piano career in both Europe and the US. In 2004 Krystian received his Master of Arts diploma from the Academy of Music in Wroclaw under Olga Rusina. In 2007 he received a graduate diploma at the University of Hartford Hartt School in the class of Oxana Yablonskaya and in April of 2007, made his Carnegie Hall Debut. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Hartford. Krystian was a laureate winner of many competitions such as the Konzerteum Competition in Athens, European Piano Competition in Bari, Inter-fest Piano Competition in Bitola, Macedonia, Nueva Acropolis Piano Competition in Madrid, International Piano Competition in Bologna, International Piano Competition in Morocco, Artists International Auditions in New York , Bradshaw & Buono Piano Competition in New York, 5 Towns Competition in New York, Chopin Competition in Marienbad, Joyce Dutka Instrumental Competition in New York, Web Concert Hall Competition and American Protégé International Piano Competition in New York. Krystian was featured in the 50th Anniversary of the Society of Polish Artist Musicians gala in the Royal Castle in Warsaw as a soloist with Polish Radio Orchestra.
