PIANISTS 2009
Rabiga Dyussembayeva, born in 1987, studied from 1993 to 2004 at the Republic Special Music School after A. Zhubanov in the class of Melkova Galina and was the third prizewinner of the International Piano Competition and received a diploma at the Open Piano Competition in Novosibirsk, Russia. In 2006, Rabiga took the First Place in the 3rd International Piano Competition in Almaty, Kazakhstan and played with the Kazakh State Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2007, she graduated from the Academic Music College at the Moscow State Conservatory and in the same year entered the Moscow State Conservatory after Peter Tchaikowski and is in the class of Professor L. Roschina. At home in the classic, romantic and modern repertoire, she has an active concert life. Her playing is characterized as having “creative fantasy”, “a generosity in interpretation”, “brilliant technique”, and “beauty and transparency in her sound, with great warmth and sincerity”. “She has a deep understanding of the conception of the work she plays, with bright temperament, brilliant technique and a fine sense of form.”
